Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton overcame a 33-24 halftime deficit on Tuesday night to record a 71-63 win over the Vikings in Pelican Rapids.

Rebels standout Owen Leach lit it up with 33 points to lead all scorers.  Logan Bitker added 17.

“It was a tough conference battle tonight that unfortunately we came up short in,” said Pelican Rapids Head Coach John Gullingsrud. “We got down early in the game, but played well the rest of the first half to go into halftime with a solid lead. We were able to maintain that lead for the first four minutes of the second half before some offensive issues with turnovers and poor shot selection led to some transition baskets for DGF that got them going. They closed the gap quickly and then controlled the last eight minutes of the game to take the win.”

Timmy Guler led the Vikings with 17 points.  He was joined in double digits by Hunter Williams with 14 and Tanner Tollerud with 13.

DGF (8-3, 4-1 HOL) will play at Breckenridge on Thursday.

Pelican Rapids (10-4, 5-1 HOL) saw their six game winning streak snapped as they suffered their first conference loss.  The Vikings will host Frazee on Thursday and then play a Saturday home game against Norman County East/Ulen-Hitterdal.
