Korf Scores 30 but Lady Vikings Come up Short Against Warriors

Morgan Korf scored 30 points on Saturday but the Wheaton/Herman-Norcross girls’ basketball team was able to withstand that output, recording a 50-47 victory over the Pelican Rapids Vikings.  Korf added 5 rebounds and 4 steals.

Ellie Welch had a team high 6 rebounds and dished out 3 assists.  Sophie Paulson and Kelsey Isaman each had 5 rebounds.

Pelican Rapids (10-5) will travel to Wadena on Tuesday and will host DGF in a Heart O’ Lakes Conference contest on Friday.

Wheaton/Herman-Norcross (8-2) travels to Graceville on Thursday to face CGB.
